I built Hidden Strength because I believe people deserve a gym that takes their training as seriously as they do.
Hidden Strength started in 2017 in an empty warehouse.
Everything here has been built piece by piece since then; the equipment, the layout, the culture. And it's never really finished. I'm always looking at something that could be better.
To this day, I still give tours, host competitions, and make repairs. I want to know what's working. I want to know the people who train here.
Hidden Strength has grown a lot over the years. But the reason I built it is still the same.
Most gyms are built to appeal to everyone. Cardio machines lined up, weights misplaced everywhere, music you didn't pick and a crowd of people who'd rather be anywhere else.
If you've ever tried to squat heavy, deadlift with chalk, or run a real training program in that environment, you know how wrong it feels.
Hidden Strength was built to fix that. A space with the right equipment, the right atmosphere, and an environment that matches the work.
That was the mindset when we opened in 2017. The gym has grown since then, but the reasoning has not changed.
Who Trains Here
Most of the people who train at Hidden Strength have a program, a goal, and a standard they hold themselves to. They are not here to pass time or go through the motions.
That includes powerlifters, bodybuilders, athletes, or even people in the military. It includes people who have never competed and never plan to. What they share is the same thing: they show up, they do the work, and they expect the environment to match that.
If you take what you do seriously, you will feel at home here.
The Facility
The equipment here was chosen for one reason: it makes training better. No cardio floors, no Smith machines taking up space that could go to a real rack.
The gym is always open. Early mornings, late nights, holidays. Train when it works for you, not when it works for us.
Every piece of equipment was chosen intentionally. Platforms, racks, bars, specialty machines. Nothing here is filler.
This is a private training facility. The space, the culture, and the standards reflect the membership, not the general public.
6,300 square feet means space to move, space to focus, and space to run a real session without working around other people.
The Community
One of the things that has happened naturally over the years is that Hidden Strength has become more than a gym. The people who train here know each other. They spot each other, compete together, and hold each other accountable.
It is a gym culture built on consistency and mutual respect. That part does not get marketed. It just happens when you put serious people in the right environment and let them do their thing.
Truly the best gym in Southern California. Has everything you need from cardio machines, powerlifting equipment, bodybuilding equipment, and even functional strength stuff or plyometrics. The community here is awesome and the owner, Adam, is a great guy. Cannot recommend enough.

Awesome gym with great equipment. This gym has 6 combo racks and a lot of kilo plates, which is a perfect spot to workout with your friends. Also, Hidden Strength has one of the best member communities because the members are very welcoming and supportive towards other members and visitors.
